Based in Edinburgh and filming weddings across Scotland and beyond, our approach is calm, unobtrusive and focused on creating films that feel authentic to the couple and the day.

I'm Connor!
Let me set the scene.
It's 2017, and I'm sitting in a stuffy, monotone coloured college classroom, listening to another lecture about assisting on a reality television show, hoping for the chance to one day work on 'something big' - Hearing that, I realised I wanted to to do something different.
I've always had a passion for Video Production, and after doing every project that I could get my hands on, my friends Kirsty & Neil asked if I could do their video. I jumped on the chance and never looked back.

From that first Wedding, I realised I had found what I was truly passionate about.
Using those technical skills I had learned at college & university to capture all the little unseen moments of the day, saving so many moments that the couple would never have been able to see.
What I love most about being a Wedding Videographer is being able to deliver such a personal thing to people that holds such sentimental value; It's a pretty special feeling.

From those first few years, like everything else, it was a learning curve - and a steep one at that!
But with hard work, determination and no small amount of luck, Stag & Doe grew with every Wedding that we filmed, developing our own unique blend of filming the day in an unobtrusive way but still capturing those stunning moments that make every Wedding special.
With Stag & Doe growing, we also began to work with more Videographers, expanding the team to six regular team members to cover each day that we can!

The Family tech guy, eagerly obsessing over the latest cameras, drones, you name it. Just don't get me started on printers.

Dug person through and through, sitting for every good boy & girl I can.

On the Day
Most couples tell us they barely noticed we were there — and that’s exactly how we like it.
We’ll guide where needed, especially for small parts of the day like couple portraits, but we’re never there to take over or make things feel awkward.
Our aim is for you to feel completely present with each other and your guests, knowing that the important moments are being captured naturally in the background.
