Izzy & Justin

AN ITALIAN DESTINATION WEDDING FILM

Izzy & Justin brought their families across the world from Australia to celebrate over three unforgettable days at Borgo di Celle in Italy — a pizza party, a wedding in the rain, dinners under the stars. Here's their film and the story of it all.

The Story of

IZZY & JUSTIN'S DESTINATION WEDING

Three days. Two families who'd flown from Australia. One hillside in Italy. Izzy & Justin didn't so much have a wedding day as a wedding gathering — and filming a celebration that unfolds over days rather than hours is one of the real joys of a destination wedding, with room for the whole story to breathe.

There's something about distance that changes the feel of a wedding. Everyone's there, fully, for days, with nowhere else to be. And when that somewhere is a place as beautiful as Borgo di Celle in Umbria, the celebration naturally finds its own rhythm across time.

It began the way the best celebrations do: informally. The first night was a pizza party with live music, the kind of relaxed, joyful start that sets the tone for everything after. The wedding day itself brought an outdoor ceremony and a six-course pasta dinner — and then the moment that will stay with us, a choreographed first dance performed outside as the rain came down. Some couples would have run for cover; they danced through it, and it became one of the most memorable things we've filmed. The party that followed went on under the stars, the way Italian summer nights are made for.

The final day softened the pace — a relaxing close with a curated Italian dinner outdoors, everyone a little tired, a little glowing, reluctant for it to end. That's the gift of a destination wedding: it doesn't finish at midnight on the wedding day. It lingers.
